One of these days I’m going to work out why I draw pictures of women for no good reason, or at the very least try to get paid to do so. Until then, I’m kind of like Seth from Superbad except, you know – without all the dick drawings, so really I’m not really like him at all.

I don’t normally make a habit of posting work before it’s finished but I’m pretty happy with the progress of this one, so here’s a look at my poster for Inglorious Basterds.

Working full time has made me appreciate mindless illustrations with no point so much more, so expect to see some pretty random drawings. Or I could just slack off like I usually do and not post for a while…

It’s clear to all that I have been extremely slack with any posts for well over a month. Starting a new job at Lifelounge Agency has been great but it’s also been pretty hectic too. At any rate I am going to try to get back on the freelance illustration work and have a few projects in the works that need some serious attention. This is a poster  of Get Carter (the original, not the Sly Stallone piece of crap) for a good friend from 1st Product I have yet to deliver. Nick, I swear it’s on the way!

The new Semi-Permanent Book 1 arrived in the mail yesterday, I’ve had this insecure feeling that my work was going to be omitted for some reason but thankfully I was wrong. This was not a paid gig but seeing one of my illustrations in a printed book that will be available in all good bookshops and museums around Australia, New Zealand, and maybe even Hong Kong is extremely rewarding.
