Early last month a group of cyclists dumped 13 gallons of paint on the road at Berlin’s busy Rosenthaler Platz, to create this awesome installation. They were nice enough to use water based inks as to not damage any cars and did so in full view of the drivers as they waited at traffic lights. Read the full article HERE.
Stumbled across this short film by Tadashi Nakamura. It’s a great watch but especially for me who grew up in the 90’s, the music and the old school gear worn by Tad and his boys takes me back to own teenage years. I used to rock the Magic Starter cap and play ball, now I want it back more than ever.
I’ve been waiting all March for this shop to open but we finally have a date! Mr Shawn Stussy is opening up his new business venture S/Double April 12 and I’m excited. One of the reasons why we started printing T-Shirts was that we were sick of cool brands we liked becoming cheaply manufactured and designed licensed “product”, so I love the direction S\Double is heading. The new Haiti Poster Project website is up, posters will not be available until April 5, but it’s worth popping your head in to see the submissions as they roll in. Prints will start off at $25.00, and funds raised will go to Doctors Without Borders.
