GROLSCH GRID RECAP

I’ve been a little slow on this one, but last week Grolsch threw a three day event where posters and installations featuring the iconic Glosch bottle were posted up at various locations around the Melbourne CBD. The event is now over but some of the pieces will still be up, so hit the Grolsch Grid to find location or peep their online gallery.

BET CYPHER

BET network hosts an annual awards show. This is one of the Cypher’s from this year’s show with 2 legends of hip hop and their offspring. Ice Cube with his sons OMG (seriously?) and Doughboy along with Rev Run and his sons Diggy and JoJo.

It was interesting to see the old generation of hip hop along with the next gen who are trying to make it in the game. If I had to choose I would bank on Diggy and Doughboy.

GROLSCH GRID

Grolsch have been involved in supporting the Melbourne and Sydney independent art scene for the last three years, sponsoring openings, exhibitions and fashion launches providing us with their fine Dutch lager. Running from October 21 – 24, 2010, Grolsch are taking it to the streets. Running over three nights with 41 Artists, 17 lanes and one very famous bottle of beer, Melbourne lanes will be converted to outdoor exhibitions and motion graphic installations.

MONSTER CHILDREN

The current issue of Monster Children Mag has just come out and it may be the free credit card size bottle opener talking but I think it may be their best one yet. This issue is available in two covers and considering I am bound to loose the MC bottle opener I think I will purchase both.
